Eftersom China har tillbringat två veckor i sängen och fortfarande är förkyld ville vi inte ”slösa” en östgötaledssträcka utan henne för gårdagens utflykt. Turen gick därför till Glotternskogens naturreservat utanför Norrköping. Strax norr om Åby, längs väg 55, svänger man till höger in på en liten grusväg och efter någon kilometer, när man just bestämt sig för att man kört fel, vidgar sig vägen tillräckligt för att man ska kunna parkera. Redan vid tiotiden stod där ett tjugotal bilar så förmodligen en omtyckt plats för de som känner till den. Vid starten finns en informationstavla med karta över stigarna i området. Så det var bara på med ryggsäckarna och iväg.
Nu har vi ju gått några gånger i Kolmårdens skogar och jag blir alltid lika nyfiken på dess historia. För en östgöte är området förknippat med något lite mörkt och skrämmande, det var där allfarvägarna tog slut och rövarna fanns. Men igår sken solen, lederna var tydligt utmärkta och de enda stigfinnare vi stötte på var glada friluftsmänniskor i massor som eldade, grillade korv, fikade, solade och promenerade. Men visst kan man förstå, ensam ute i skogen för länge sedan, att det måste varit lätt när mörkret föll både se älvorna dansa och trollen försvinna in mellan stenarna.
Tillbaka i den vanliga världen insåg vi att vi hade glömt soppan i bilen så vi fick nöja oss med kaffe och smörgås.
